An Illinois grandfather has won a nice chunk of change thanks to his second-favorite scratch-off ticket.

Clarence Neuenkirchen said he visited a Jewel-Osco grocery store in Oswego, where he decided to play the lottery, according to a Tuesday, Aug. 26, news release from the Illinois Lottery.

First, Neuenkirchen told Illinois Lottery officials, he tried to purchase his favorite $5 Crossword scratch-off ticket. But that ticket was sold out.

So the grandfather decided to go with his “second favorite” ticket, a 7X Bingo Multiplier.

“It feels like a little escape,” he said. “I can take my time playing it."

It did not take long for Neuenkirchen to realize he had won big — $200,000 to be exact, according to local stations WGN and WFLD.

He then shared the good news with his wife. "I honestly thought she was going to break the floor,” he said, “she kept jumping up and down!"

Neuenkirchen said he plans to put money into his retirement fund and set up education funds for his grandchildren. (The Jewel-Osco grocery store that sold the ticket will get a $2,000 bonus.)

He also plans to go on a “cruise in the Gulf and maybe even travel to France” with his wife.

Nabei i missed the inter miami match ib front so many kkj lang queuing all buy toto.
25 mins also not enough time. Stupid outlet only open one counter.

Bo pian sk area very few outlets somemore must walk 40 mins to bet on horse.
Lousy place is like that one. Keep missing out on winning football bets.

Most old jomkies can go online too but i cannot understand why they dun want to. Got one ah neh slwsys last min buy many multiples then use paynow. Jislat if everyone like him 5-10 mins somemore only one counter serving means everyday must queue up 45 mins early, even way before 8 am.

Worse thing is after i missed my bet (8.30 ko), i got frustrated and i anyhow bet on whats available.
Queue up for 30 mins means i got to bet something right ?

Sheng siong always morning one counter. Supermrkt always a lot of ppl but only open one counter. The other nearest outlet is 45 mins away. Shitty place.
If i strike big i'm moving to stay in hotel near livewire.

No choice had to go & que up to bet😀

u check livewire got it anot just go their to bet
But must bet bigger to cover the trip 
1 time i missed my bet limit up quickly checked livewire had it anot go there no see anything just

For various reasons

I regreted many years ago i go apply comcare. Now i perma banned from casino abd online acc.
I go and listen to my neighbour she ask me to go try.
I got a bit of help but in return i cannot go online /casino.
I didn't even know the consequences beforehand until few mths later. No notice one just ban
